EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE PRESIDENT

 

Position Title: Executive Assistant
Reports To: President
Company Name: Confidential
Base Location: Dallas, TX

Position Summary:
The Executive Assistant works to support the President within a fast paced environment. This person will perform a variety of administrative duties with latitude for exercising discretion and judgment. The Executive Assistant will receive and answer correspondence, arrange for and schedule appointments for the President, as well as supervise the preparation of materials for meetings. The person will also study reports received, check and compare with previous reports and other data and bring to the attention of the President significant items, changes errors or omissions. Supervise the maintenance of office files, keeping correspondence and reports available for reference and ensuring efficient operation of the office. The Executive Assistant is responsible for building positive relationships with the management team and acting as a liaison for the President to this team. This person will assist the President in coordinating some personal matters as well.

  9. The ability to understand and learn the power relationships in one’s own or other organizations, identifying who the decision-makers are and who can influence them and predicting how individuals or groups will react to new events or situations.

Prerequisites and Additional Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Marketing and / or Art background a plus.
  • Highly computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to model appropriate leadership behavior.
