Position Description:
Design and build an industry-leading, innovative, next generation client relationship
management (CRM) system. The Senior CRM Engineer will assist with CRM application
and database development, deployment and assist with full system integration
and ancillary products. Be a part of a technical team developing state of
the art application technology in Microsoft Windows on the .NET platform.
General duties include utilizing product/system
requirements and technical specifications to implement system features
developing in C# or VB.NET code
and modules. Create and manage unit testing for assigned components of the
CRM module and mentor other team members in .NET technology. Possible travel
required — both domestic and International.
The successful candidate must have a College
degree in technology or accounting and must be able to function
successfully in a fast-paced, motivated, distributed
and cross-functional team environment.
Competencies & Essential Duties:
- Experience with requirements gathering,
design, documentation and testing procedures. Create and implement strategies to
develop business opportunity in new channels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
skills.
- A creative mind set for implementing "out-of-the-box" solutions.
- Ability to multi-task and a desire to learn
new applications.
- Solid project management skills.
- Solid people skills.
- 5 or more years experience designing and
developing object oriented (OO) enterprise software.
- 5 or more years experience developing in an MS Windows
environment.
- Excellent C# or VB.NET programming skills.
- 1 or more years experience developing in
the Microsoft .NET framework.
- Expert knowledge of web services and XML
technologies is required.
- Expert knowledge of relational databases
and SQL is required.
- Experience with MS Visual Studio .NET 2003
is required.
- Utilizing the XP development methodology is required.
- Solid architecture and design skills and
working experience with several industry adopted design methodologies
are highly preferred.
- User interface (UI) development experience
is highly preferred.
- Experience working with CRM applications
highly preferred.
- Knowledge of SOAP is preferred.
